Cathay Pacific Services Limited was formed in January of 2008 and was awarded a 20-years franchise by the Airport Authority Hong Kong, in March 2008, to design, build and operation a new cargo terminal at the Hong Kong International Airport.
Cathay Pacific Services Limited is a fully owned subsidiary of Cathay Pacific Airways Limited. The new cargo terminal is a long term strategic investment and development by Cathay Pacific in conjunction with its freighter fleet expansion to build HKG as a cargo hub for the airline.
Operations of the Cathay Pacific Cargo Terminal will commence in early 2013.
