New Health Measures at CPSL Canteen

02 April 2020

In line with the Hong Kong Government’s latest temporary health and safety measure announcement, effective 28 March 2020 (Saturday), the following changes have been made to CPSL canteen:

  • You are now required to wear a face mask in any food premises, both for dine-in and take-out services except while consuming food or drink in the CPSL canteen on 3/F. Anyone not wearing a mask will not be served and asked to leave the area.

  • Only 50% of the canteen tables and chairs is now available to meet distancing requirements and the distance of at least 1.5 meters buffer between one table and another table.

  • No more than four people may be seated together at one table.

We recommend that everyone practices social distancing, to minimise the risk of COVID-19 spreading in the community. Arrangement is made in CPSL for split office operation and work from home to reduce the people density in enclosed office environment.

We are aware that rumours are circulating on the Internet regarding a suspected confirmed case of COVID-19 at our terminal. We would like to reiterate that CPSL has established a reporting system and enforced a series of additional measures to protect the health and safety of our customers, our terminal users and employees. If there is suspected or confirmed case in our terminal, we will follow the health authorities’ prescribed procedures, as well as maintain close communication with stakeholders to provide information in a timely manner.
