This role is on shared services basis, providing support to CX subsidiaries in the business scope of Cargo Terminal, Passenger Handling, Ramp Handling and Laundry Services.

Responsibilities:

  • Allocates the resources for the IT facilities and system checking and recovering activities.
  • Monitor the system health of the IT infrastructure and mission critical applications – such as WOS, MHCS, and RHS.
  • Document the incident management procedures and manages the system deployment activities.
  • Prepare IT Operation Reports for Management (Daily, Weekly and Ad-hoc).
  • Give recommendations or workaround solutions to restore system operations.
  • Lead and work with sub-contractors and IMT support staff to resume the system to normal operations.
  • Acts as the point of contact with Operations Service Control Center, engineering control room, and IT service desk during significant IT system breakdown.
  • Report to the Ops Duty Manager on all system discrepancies, which affected the operations and may cause missing SLA.
  • Manage all severity 3 above IT incidents in order to resume service as quick as possible.
  • Manage IT service desk daily activities and IT purchasing orders for IT daily operations.
  • Report to the Ops Duty manager and IT services support manager on all significant irregularities and critical system failure (severity 3 and above incidents) with detailed incident reports.
  • Conduct any ad hoc duties as assigned by your superior.

Requirements:

  • Have a degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or Information Management
  • Have over 8 years relevant experience of IT services support
  • Good Communication and Reporting Skills:
  • Should have strong reporting skills and provide severity incident handling status information timely; understood business impact and priority; communicate with Ops Duty Manager effectively
  • Strong Technical Skills (Infrastructure and Application)
    Should have knowledge of IT infrastructure healthiness status, IT infrastructure configuration, as well as severity infrastructure incident handling process.
  • Strong Business Application Skills. Should understand mission critical IT application major functional flows and non-functional requirements
  • Familiar with ITIL processes and master ITIL incident management process and ITIL foundation certified is preferable
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently under pressure
  • Shift duty is required
